My Family Life

I am so incredibly blessed to have built a wonderful family, with my partner Daniel. Since the summer of 2015, we have been through many phases of life together.

Starting out, we stayed in a tent “stealing” camping spots at our local nature reserve. We went on many adventures, big and small as our love grew. We went on to have several different places to call home before finally, we bought our first house together in the very early spring of 2023.

When we first started our life together, Daniel’s firstborn son was always the light of our lives. Spending our weekends doting on J were precious moments that we would never take for granted. J was only two back then, and the love I’ve always had for him- though he is not my own- has always been deeply rooted.

Later on, after we had settled into a small, upstairs apartment came Luna Fae. Daniel’s and my own precious daughter. For J’s fifth birthday, we gave him the news that he was going to have a baby sister! (Along with many toys.) My pregnancy was difficult, and I didn’t have the community or knowledge to make it any easier on myself. I desperately wanted to have her at home, but at the time I was unaware of how to make that a reality. I didn’t come to know the midwives in the area until after she was born…
